Privacy

This note says what ShipPlays collects when you join the newsletter or sponsor the directory, and who handles that data. It also covers site measurements. Dated 30 October 2026.

Who is responsible

ShipPlays is the name used by Francisco Rivas Fernandez, a sole trader (enskild firma) in Sweden. For the personal data described here, he is the controller. No company number or postal address is printed on this page.

Newsletter

If you use the signup form, it sends:

On a playbook page the form also sends that playbook's slug in a field named source. The signup handler accepts the field and does not store it on your contact.

The form has another field that people are not meant to fill. It is there so automated signups can be ignored. It is not used to build a profile.

The address is used to send new playbooks. The basis for that is your consent. You can unsubscribe from a message, or ask for the address to be deleted. That is how you withdraw consent. The list is not sold.

The address is kept so those playbooks can be sent, until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion. This page does not name a number of days, and it does not promise how quickly a processor's tools forget an address.

Sponsorship payments

Sponsorship is paid on a Stripe Payment Link. Card details are entered on Stripe. ShipPlays does not have a card form and does not store the card number.

Stripe emails the receipt. ShipPlays may see the name and email on that receipt when a sponsor is recorded. The page you return to on this site does not confirm that a payment succeeded.

Processors

These services process data for ShipPlays. Each has its own privacy notice:

This list is the set used for the newsletter and for sponsorship checkout. It is not a full inventory of every cookie the host might set. Site measurements are described below.

Site analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics (real user monitoring) is in use on shipplays.com. Cloudflare’s automatic install adds one beacon when a page is served. This site does not embed a second copy of that script.

Cloudflare positions this product as privacy-oriented. It does not use cookies for Web Analytics, it does not fingerprint people for cross-site tracking, and it does not store IP addresses as personal profiles. Cloudflare’sprivacy policyis the same notice linked for hosting.Cloudflare Web Analyticsdescribes the product, and theRUM beaconnote describes what the script collects.

The measurements are page views and visits, paths, referrers, device and browser aggregates, and Core Web Vitals such as LCP, CLS, INP, and TTFB. ShipPlays views that data in the Cloudflare dashboard. How long Cloudflare keeps it is on Cloudflare’s side. This page does not name a number of days.

Asking about your data

You can ask for a copy of the newsletter data held about you, a correction, or deletion, and you can withdraw consent. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, IMY) atimy.se.

Send a privacy request to[email protected]. Name the address you used on the newsletter or at checkout, if you have one. That inbox is the ShipPlays contact address.
